Identity
Hair makes the integral part of physical as well as global identity, therefore represents the reflection that everybody has about themselves. It can remind you of wires, ropes, or bridges that stretch out in different directions: towards others, towards yourself or your own image. It is no coincidence that different forms of hair loss are connected with personal loss, real or imaginary, parting with the kind of relationship that somebody finds vital. The goal of this art project is to point out the fragility of individual as opposed to the collective identity, and at the same time to raise the question “what constitutes our identity"?
