My works of art strive to note unperceivable string that connects collective memory and identity. My work is based on the connection of these two complex concepts, images that, on the one hand, remind you of byzantine icons omnipresent in Serbian religious tradition, while on the other hand, with their static position, give impression of an army.
An important symbol of identity shown with the help of traditional costume elements which are artistically expressed through the smallest details, presents a strong and unchangeable testament of collective memory.
